Pallavi Shroff

Pallavi Shroff is the Managing Partner of SAM, one of India’s leading law firms with a heritage of over a century. With more than four decades in practice, she is regarded as one of the country’s most accomplished disputes lawyers, known for her steady judgment and deep commitment to her clients.

Her practice spans complex litigation, arbitration and regulatory work. She has appeared regularly before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts and international arbitral institutions, acting in matters concerning energy, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, natural resources and policy. She has also guided clients through sensitive competition law and white-collar crime investigations, combining legal clarity with empathetic counsel.

Pallavi has contributed to important national committees shaping India’s competition law framework and has served with leading arbitral institutions globally. Under her leadership, the firm represented Indian industry in a landmark constitutional case on allocation of natural resources, one of the Supreme Court’s defining rulings of recent years.
