Juan Miguel Gonzalez Barboteo
Non-executive Director – Chief Financial Officer of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
Juan Gonzalez is the Chief Financial Officer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in the Middle East and India. He oversees financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, capital management and reporting, while ensuring strong governance, controls and regulatory compliance. He also supports strategic growth initiatives, including M&A, joint ventures and business expansion, providing financial insights to enable informed business decisions. Juan is also a director of Air Products Qudra in Saudi Arabia.
Juan joined Air Products in 2003 through the European Graduate Career Development Program. In 2014, he moved from Hersham, UK to Barcelona, Spain after being named Commercial Manager/Director for Southern Europe. In that role, he significantly grew top line revenues and led a large team focused on business development and sales activities. He was named named to his current role in 2025 after serving as Vice President, Large Project Business Development for Air Products in the Middle East and India.
Juan earned a degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), a master’s degree in applied science from University College Cork (Ireland), and an MBA from the London Business School. Juan is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom.
