Juan Miguel Gonzalez Barboteo

Juan Gonzalez is the Chief Financial Officer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in the Middle East and India. He is responsible for pursuing and winning strategic projects that support Air Products’ profitable growth in the region. He is also the Business manager and accountable for the industrial gases business of Air Products in India, including leadership responsibility for Air Products world-scale industrial gas facility in Kochi, Kerala; and has responsibility for the relationship with our JV operations, INOX Air Products. Juan is also a director of Air Products Qudra in Saudi Arabia.

Juan joined Air Products through 2003 in the European Graduate Career Development Program. In 2014, he moved from Hersham, UK to Barcelona, Spain after being named Commercial Manager/Director for Southern Europe. In that role, he significantly grew top line revenues and led a large team focused on business development and sales activities. He was named to his current role in 2022 after serving 2 years as Director of Business Development Large Projects for Air Products in Europe and Africa.

Juan earned a degree in Environmental Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), an master’s degree in applied science from University College Cork (Ireland), and an MBA from the London Business School. Juan is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom.
