Mumbai, November 12th, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s leading industrial, electronic & specialty gas manufacturer, has entered into a long-term partnership with Grew Energy Private Limited to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW Solar PV Cell manufacturing facility at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. Under the agreement, INOXAP will significantly invest & develop a dedicated pipeline network from its existing Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Narmadapuram to ensure reliable and round-the-clock supplies.

INOXAP will supply ultra-high purity Nitrogen to support the precision manufacturing needs of Grew Energy’s manufacturing of Photo-Voltaic Solar Cells at their Narmadapuram facility. This long-term partnership with Grew Energy reflects a shared belief in building a stronger, self-reliant clean energy ecosystem for India. This partnership will not only meet the high-purity gas requirements of Grew Energy’s facility but will also add to the region’s growing industrial infrastructure. The Solar PV cell manufacturing facility is expected to begin in early 2026, in line with Grew’s commissioning timeline.

Mumbai, 28th October, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial, electronic and medical gases, has signed a 20-year agreement on a Build-Own-Operate basis with Premier Energies, one of India’s largest integrated solar cell and module manufacturers. The agreement involves installation & commissioning of a cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU), for supplying 7000 nm3/h of Gaseous Nitrogen of 5N grade, 250 nm3/h of ultra-high purity Gaseous Oxygen of 6N grade, along with some additional liquid products to Premier Energies’ solar cell greenfield manufacturing facility at Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh. The ASU is expected to be commissioned next year.

The new agreement reinforces INOXAP’s four-year association with Premier Energies through successive long-term on-site contracts for industrial gases supplied from INOXAP’s cryogenic plants, cementing its role as the preferred partner. INOXAP has already installed 2X750 nm3/h and 1X1000 nm3/h Nitrogen generators at Premier’s Hyderabad facility. INOXAP has also recently initiated supplies of electronic grade gases for Premier’s current 3GW Solar PV cells & future manufacturing of 4GW Solar PV cells.

May 5th 2025, Mumbai: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial, electronic and medical gases, has signed an agreement to procure 75 MW of Hybrid Renewable Energy from Serentica Renewables, a leading renewable energy provider in India. Under this agreement, Serentica will supply hybrid renewable energy to INOXAP, through its Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project, enabling competitive tariffs and flexible power usage across multiple locations of INOXAP in four different states.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in INOXAP’s green-energy-transition journey by significantly increasing the share of renewable energy in its energy mix. 75 MW of hybrid energy will power four of INOXAP’s key manufacturing sites in four different states.

INOX Air Products commissions its first Green Hydrogen Plant at Asahi India’s Soniyana facility at Chittorgarh

Mumbai, 28th March, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial, electronic and medical gases, today announced the successful commissioning of its first-ever Green Hydrogen manufacturing Plant at Asahi India Glass Limited’s (AIS) greenfield float glass facility at Soniyana in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. AIS, India’s leading glass manufacturer, have entered into a 20-year offtake agreement with INOXAP for supply of Green Hydrogen, to this facility. The Plant, powered by solar energy, will have a capacity to generate up to 190 Tons of Green Hydrogen per Annum through the electrolysis process. This will be India’s first instance of use of Green Hydrogen in the Float Glass manufacturing process, paving the way for sustainable glass production.

INOXAP is responsible for the design, engineering, installation, operations and a continuous supply of Green Hydrogen to the AIS facility for a period 20 years. In the first phase, 95 TPA Green Hydrogen will be supplied to AIS. As a part of the agreement, AIS has invested in the solar power plant, which is supplying renewable energy for the generation of Green Hydrogen, which would be further consumed in AIS’s float glass manufacturing process.

AIS has commissioned a greenfield project in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan for manufacturing high-quality float glass to be used for automotive and architectural purposes with technology collaboration from its partners – AGC Europe. The agreement with INOX Air Products for setting up a Green Hydrogen plant for this project is a part of AIS’s overall sustainability strategy, and is inspired by their vision to reduce carbon footprint in the glass manufacturing process.

Nitrous Oxide’s unique properties contribute to the precision, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of processes crucial for creating the electronic devices. Nitrous Oxide plays a critical and multi-faceted role in the electronic devices industry, particularly in gas-phase chemical deposition for the production of solar PV cells and semiconductors (chips, circuits, and transistors). Mumbai, 15th January 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturers of Industrial Gases, has successfully commissioned its largest-ever Air Separation Unit, with an installed capacity of 2150 Tons Per Day (TPD), at the Steel Authority of India’s (SAIL) Bokaro Plant. With an investment of INR 750 crore, the project is a result of INOXAP’s largest-ever investment in a Greenfield Oxygen Plant in India. This is also the largest-ever ASU installed at any of the SAIL’s facilities across the country.

The state-of-the-art ASU will generate 2150 TPD of Industrial Gases, including 2000 TPD of Gaseous Oxygen, 150 TPD of Liquid Oxygen, 1200 TPD of Gaseous Nitrogen & 100 TPD of Argon. INOXAP already operates an ASU with a capacity of 1250 TPD at SAIL’s Bokaro Plant. With this commissioning, INOXAP’s combined production capacity at SAIL’s Bokaro Plant is now more than 6300 TPD for all gases.

Mumbai, 10th January 2025 : INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial and medical gases, has been awarded yet another long-term contract for Specialty Gases from TP Solar Ltd (TPSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL). INOXAP would supply Nitrous Oxide, Ammonia, Silane, Trimethyl Aluminum (TMA) in ISO containers, Tube Trailers and canisters to TPSL ensuring a seamless and reliable supply for its Solar cell & module manufacturing facility at Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. The partnership also includes a comprehensive gas management solution for the supply, distribution, and onsite management of these electronic specialty gases, tailored to meet TPSL’s operational and production requirements. As part of its commitment to meeting TPSL’s needs, INOXAP has also invested additionally for setting up a dedicated fully-equipped fulfilment center in Tirunelveli adjacent to the facility.

The new contract adds strength to the partnership between INOXAP and TPSL, building on the earlier 15-year contract for a fully integrated ultra-high purity cryogenic Nitrogen generator at the same facility for providing Nitrogen and Oxygen through a dedicated pipeline. INOXAP’s cumulative investment towards building a comprehensive product supply chain for TPSL’s Tirunelveli facility, including the on-site Nitrogen generator, fulfilment center, ISO containers, small gas packages and other components will be Rs 100 Cr.

Mumbai, 16th October 2024. INOX Group, a diversified Indian conglomerate, and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India’s premier scientific research institution, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for setting up of INOX Quantum Materials Lab. The Lab would come up at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering facility at IISc. The Lab is set to focus on the development of topological semiconductors, a critical material for achieving fault-tolerant quantum computing, which will enable the creation of robust and error-resistant quantum states, which holds key to the future of Quantum technology.

With an aim to build an indigenous Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) unit that would be commercialised, the Lab would mark a significant leap towards making advanced semiconductor and quantum technology more accessible and cost-effective in the country. The initiative would address the high cost involved in importing equipment, but would also foster the development of skilled human resources in India. The endeavours would not only benefit the semiconductor industry, but would also further the research around quantum technology, topological insulators, epitaxial ferromagnetic semiconductors, and other quantum materials. IISc would also offer internship opportunities to undergraduates from premium institutes carrying out research in related fields. The Institute would also conduct annual workshops on quantum technologies, besides encouraging publication of research papers and participation in global conferences. Over and above the research, the contribution made by INOX Group would be comprehensively used for developing the lab infrastructure, to development of individual tools, and ensuring technology transfer for the benefit of the industry, as well as society.
