Hosur, 18 th February 2023: Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M K Stalin,today inaugurated a new Ultra-High Purity Cryogenic Medical Oxygen and Industrial Gases Plant, commissioned by INOX Air Products (INOXAP) at SIPCOT Phase II in Hosur,Tamil Nadu, with a manufacturing capacity of 200 Tons Per Day (TPD). INOXAP is India’s largest manufacturer of Industrial & Medical Gases with a Liquid Medical Oxygen production capacity of 3400 TPD across its 47 operating locations. The Air Separation Plant, which was commissioned in just 20 months, will produce ultra-high purity cryogenic medical oxygen and industrial gases including Liquid Nitrogen & Liquid Argon. With a potential to produce 150 Metric Tonnes of Liquid Oxygen per day, the plant now takes INOXAP’s current Liquid Oxygen manufacturing capacity in the State from 150 Metric Tonnes to 300 Metric Tonnes per day. The new plant will help to fulfil the oxygen demand of more than 100 hospitals in the state of Tamil Nadu, as well as cater to the industrial gases needs of various industries. Commissioned with a project outlay of Rs 150 Crores, the new plant will also generate 150 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state. With a storage capacity of 1000 Metric Tonnes and a robust distribution infrastructure,INOXAP can ably perform this critical task of Liquid Medical Oxygen supplies with its fleet of 63 specialized Cryogenic Tankers having a total trunking capacity of 7.5 lakh litres of Oxygen. Mumbai, 31st May, 2022: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial and medical gases has announced that it has completed the commissioning of its 5th Air Separation Unit (ASU) at the Hazira Unit of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India).  The entire process from design to commissioning took 15 months, compared to a global industry standard of 27 months, setting a new benchmark in the industrial gases industry.  The ASU, installed with an investment of INR 350 Cr, has a capacity to produce 700 Tons Per Day of Gaseous Oxygen and 300 Tons Per Day of Gaseous Nitrogen, besides other liquid medical and industrial gases. On completion, the gas complex now has a combined production capacity of more than 9000 TPD of industrial gases. INOXAP’s engineers began working on the ASU in February 2021, with a severely shortened completion deadline to enable AM/NS India to meet the enhanced requirements for oxygen and nitrogen as it expanded steel manufacturing at its flagship Hazira plant from 7.2 MTPA to 8.6 MTPA. INOXAP’s engineering feat was achieved against the headwinds of the second wave of COVID-19 and disruptions to global shipping supply chains due to geopolitical developments, which slowed the movement of critical equipment and raw material required for the ASU. The ongoing commodity crunch has additionally held up the delivery of sub-contracted equipment. This will be the INOXAP’s largest–ever investment in a Greenfield Oxygen Plant

Mumbai, 7th March 2022: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturers of Industrial & Medical Gases is all set to build its 2nd Cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU) at the Steel Authority of India’s (SAIL) Bokaro plant in Jharkhand. With an estimated investment of INR 750 crore, the project will be INOXAP’s largest-ever investment in a Greenfield Oxygen Plant in India. The state-of-the-art ASU will generate 2150 tonnes per day (TPD) of Industrial Gases, including 2000 TPD of Gaseous Oxygen, 150 TPD of Liquid Oxygen, 1200 TPD of Gaseous Nitrogen & 100 TPD of Argon. Once the ASU is commissioned, INOXAP’s combined production capacity at SAIL’s Bokaro Plant will be more than 6300 TPD for all gases.  Sharing his views on the signing of the prestigious contract, Siddharth Pavan Jain, Director – INOX Air Products said, “The signing of this contract with SAIL brings us an immense sense of pride and excitement. Mumbai, 22nd February, 2021: Supporting the Nation’s revival journey through massive investments in core sectors like Manufacturing and Infrastructure as announced in Budget 2021, India’s largest manufacturer of Industrial & Medical Gases, INOX Air Products (INOXAP) has laid out massive expansion plans of INR 2000 Crores to build eight new Air Separation Units across the country. This will be India’s largest Greenfield investment plan ever witnessed in the Industrial Gases sector. With a combined capacity to manufacture more than 1500 Tons Per Day (TPD) of Liquid Gases, the expansion will take INOXAP’s total liquid gases production to 4800 TPD by 2024. Inspired by the Prime Minister’s vision of Make In India, INOXAP’s new plants will strengthen and promote inclusive growth in the existing and upcoming industrial corridors across the country. Complementing the critical boost provided in Budget 2021 to the Healthcare sector, INOXAP’s expansion would also augment its Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) production capacity by 50%.  INOXAP’s new plants will be strategically located in proximity of high demand growth areas in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. The plants will produce liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon and will be commissioned during the course of FY22 to FY24. The bulk availability of industrial and medical gases will ensure constant supplies for electronic manufacturing, pharmaceutical sector, besides helping iron, steel and automobile industries to ramp up their production capacities. The projects will generate more than 1000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in their respective regions. Mumbai, 5th February, 2021: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of Industrial & Medical Gases, has announced that it has bagged a prestigious contract from ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Ltd (AM/NS India) to set up its 5th cryogenic Air Separation Unit at Hazira Plant. The installation of the 5th ASU by INOXAP at Hazira will give shape to India’s largest single-operator onsite Industrial Gas Complex on a BOO basis, which will support the first major expansion in India by ArcelorMittal, world’s largest steel company, after the acquisition of Essar Steel.  At an investment of INR 300 Cr, INOXAP’s 5th cryogenic ASU at AM/NS India’s Hazira plant, would have the capacity to generate 700 TPD of Gaseous Oxygen and 300 TPD of Gaseous Nitrogen along with other liquid gases. Once completed, the Gas Complex would have a combined production capacity of more than 9000 TPD of industrial gases.  Sharing his views on the prestigious contract, Siddharth Jain, Executive Director – INOX Air Products adds. “We are indeed honoured by the continued trust ArcelorMittal management has reposed on us for supporting them in their growth plans. This expansion is a part of their larger expansion plans across India.  INOXAP’s long term, onsite gas supply partnership with AM/NS India began in year 2005, when erstwhile Essar Steel awarded a contract for a 885 TPD Cryogenic ASU on BOO basis. This relationship achieved newer heights when INOXAP was chosen as a preferred partner to outsource the majority of its captive ASUs resulting into INOXAP acquiring all 3 ASU assets of 1700 TPD capacity each from Essar Steel in 2015 and entered into a long term contract for supply of all Industrial Gases on a BOO basis.  INOXAP has been servicing the needs of the Indian Steel Industry for over 45 years now. Lucknow, 8th October 2020: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Shri Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated a new state-of-the-art Ultra-High Purity Cryogenic Oxygen Plant in Modinagar town in the Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh. The plant has been commissioned by INOX Air Products (INOXAP), one of India’s largest manufacturers of Industrial & Medical Gases. As the largest gas manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh, the Air Separation plant with a capacity of 200 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) will produce Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen & Liquid Argon. The foundation stone for this prestigious project was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 29th July 2018. As a part of MOU signed between the Government of Uttar Pradesh and INOX AP during ‘Investors Summit 2018’, the plant has been commissioned today, depicting INOX AP’s strong intent to fulfil the need of medical oxygen as well as aid the state’s industrial growth with a robust supply of industrial gases. With a potential to produce 150 Metric Tonnes of Liquid Oxygen per day, the plant now takes state’s current Liquid Oxygen manufacturing capacity from 115 Metric Tonnes to 265 Metric Tonnes per day. Kolkata, September 2020: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), one of India’s largest manufacturers of Industrial & Medical Gases, has been awarded of contract for supply of Liquid Medical Oxygen by West Bengal Medical Services Corporation Limited, Kolkata for for 3 of Government ear marked COVID care hospitals viz. M R Bangur Super Speciality Hospital, M R Bangur District Hospital and ID&BG Hospital Beliaghata. INOXAP has been supplying Medical Oxygen through it’s channel partners to more than 100 hospitals in West Bengal in their battle against COVID-19, by ensuring a relentless supply of Medical Oxygen ever since the pandemic broke out in the State. To meet the sustained pan India demand of Medical Oxygen, INOXAP has installed 64 Jumbo Tanks in the past 4 months, at various major COVID hospitals across India with a storage capacity 4 Lakh Litres. Nationally, INOXAP has a dedicated fleet of 550 Transport Tanks and more than 600 Drivers, to facilitate supply to more than 800 Hospitals across India.

Air Products (NYSE: APD) today announced that INOX Air Products Ltd., its joint venture (JV) in India, will build six new air separation units (ASU) which will serve the growing onsite and merchant liquid industrial gases market in India. The six plants are scheduled to come onstream during the course of 2018 and 2019. “The investment in this capacity will bring much needed product into the Indian market. As one of the fastest growing economies in the world, we continue to invest in these projects to ensure that we are in the best position to support the continued growth of the India Economy in general, and the manufacturing industry in particular. The positioning of this capacity in key industrial regions will enable us to serve our customers with market leading efficiency and reliability,” said Siddharth Jain – Director, INOX Air Products. “We are very pleased to be able to announce these investments, totaling over $100 million. In building these six new plants, INOX Air Products’ industrial gas market presence in India will continue to grow, and further strengthens the already established leadership position the company has in the merchant industrial gases market in India. The plants will have a combined capacity of over 1,200 metric tonnes per day of liquid product and will serve a variety of regional markets and industry segments across India such as: iron and steel making, glass manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
