New facility aims to strengthens the availability of industrial and medical gases in Andhra Pradesh Capability to produce 5N Ultra-High-Purity Liquid Nitrogen supports solar and semiconductor applications, besides core manufacturing sectors

Mumbai, 6th October 2026: INOX Air Products Limited (“INOXAP”), India’s leading manufacturer of industrial and medical gases, [inaugurated its new 200 tonnes-per-day (“TPD”) Liquid Air Separation Unit (“ASU”) at Atchutapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The facility was inaugurated by Shri T. G. Bharath, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and Commerce, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Spread across 6.77 acres, the new facility will produce Liquid Oxygen (LOX), Liquid Nitrogen (LIN) and Liquid Argon (LAR), aiming to strengthen the availability of critical gases for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem and medical oxygen for its healthcare infrastructure. It aims to support the requirements across pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, steel and metals, ferro alloys, chemicals, glass and engineering, alongside emerging solar and semiconductor applications. The facility can also be optimised to produce Ultra-High-Purity Liquid Nitrogen at 5N purity for specialised applications in solar and semiconductor manufacturing. By strengthening the supply of essential gases, the facility intends to also support the region’s industrial development and Andhra Pradesh’s Swarna Andhra 2047 vision.

The facility produces 6N grade (99.9999% purity) Ultra-High Purity Liquid Oxygen, with a capacity of 17 TPD (500 Nm³/hr), catering to the stringent requirements of semiconductor and solar manufacturing industries. The newly licensed facility is authorised to store critical gases including Nitrous Oxide and Silane in tube trailers, and Hydrogen mixtures in y-toners, for exclusively catering to the consistent and large-quantity requirements of India's solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing ecosystem. This approval from Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) marks a significant step towards safety, regulatory compliance and operational capability within India’s industrial gases sector.

For INOXAP’s customers, particularly solar manufacturers, the facility provides an advantage in supply assurance and operational agility for gases. A policy amendment by DPIIT in the SMPV (Unfired) Rules 2016 allowed use of LNG as transport fuel for cryogenic transportation

The deployment marks a new era of sustainable transportation in the industrial gas industry

December 24th, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s leading industrial, electronic & specialty gas leader, has flagged off India's first LNG-fuelled cryogenic tanker approved by Petroleum & Safety Organization (PESO), a part of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce. Making use of a June 2025 amendment by DPIIT in the Static and Mobile Pressure Vessels (Unfired) Rules, 2016, INOXAP became India’s first ever industrial gas manufacturer to achieve the unique distinction. The policy amendment highlights the Government’s vision of building usage of LNG as a transport fuel.

The cryogenic tanker would be fuelled by LNG through a 450 Litre Kryopower LNG Fuel tank, manufactured by INOX India Ltd, India’s largest cryogenic equipment manufacturer. As a result, the vehicle would cut CO₂ emissions by up to 25%, reduce particulates by 95%, and offer a quieter and more efficient operational performance, besides opening up a cleaner pathway for long-term cost optimization.

ReNew’s Dholera facility represents a critical step in strengthening India’s solar manufacturing capabilities; one more step towards transforming India into a global centre for manufacturing of Solar PV Cells with the latest TOPCON technology. INOXAP’s proven expertise in reliable gas solutions shall play a significant role in ensuring operational excellence and sustainability at this plant.

The new ASU will be designed to deliver UHP Nitrogen with exceptional reliability, designed to achieve the exacting quality standards required for high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing. INOXAP already supplies key electronic gases such as Nitrous Oxide, Ammonia, and Silane to ReNew’s existing Cell Manufacturing Plant based on the PERC technology, through a robust supply chain, strengthened by the deployment of owned ISO containers and Tube Trailers, since 2024. INOXAP has also been offering a comprehensive gas management solution for the supply, distribution, and onsite management of electronic specialty gases, tailored to meet stringent quality and reliability for ReNew’s operational requirements for their PERC plant.

Mumbai, November 12th, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s leading industrial, electronic & specialty gas manufacturer, has entered into a long-term partnership with Grew Energy Private Limited to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW Solar PV Cell manufacturing facility at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. Under the agreement, INOXAP will significantly invest & develop a dedicated pipeline network from its existing Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Narmadapuram to ensure reliable and round-the-clock supplies.

INOXAP will supply ultra-high purity Nitrogen to support the precision manufacturing needs of Grew Energy’s manufacturing of Photo-Voltaic Solar Cells at their Narmadapuram facility. This long-term partnership with Grew Energy reflects a shared belief in building a stronger, self-reliant clean energy ecosystem for India. This partnership will not only meet the high-purity gas requirements of Grew Energy’s facility but will also add to the region’s growing industrial infrastructure. The Solar PV cell manufacturing facility is expected to begin in early 2026, in line with Grew’s commissioning timeline.

The contract involves installation & commissioning of a new cryogenic air separation unit for supplying ultra -high purity Nitrogen & Oxygen along with other gases

Mumbai, 28th October, 2025: INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India’s largest manufacturer of industrial, electronic and medical gases, has signed a 20-year agreement on a Build-Own-Operate basis with Premier Energies, one of India’s largest integrated solar cell and module manufacturers. The agreement involves installation & commissioning of a cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU), for supplying 7000 nm3/h of Gaseous Nitrogen of 5N grade, 250 nm3/h of ultra-high purity Gaseous Oxygen of 6N grade, along with some additional liquid products to Premier Energies’ solar cell greenfield manufacturing facility at Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh. The ASU is expected to be commissioned next year.

The new agreement reinforces INOXAP’s four-year association with Premier Energies through successive long-term on-site contracts for industrial gases supplied from INOXAP’s cryogenic plants, cementing its role as the preferred partner. INOXAP has already installed 2X750 nm3/h and 1X1000 nm3/h Nitrogen generators at Premier’s Hyderabad facility. INOXAP has also recently initiated supplies of electronic grade gases for Premier’s current 3GW Solar PV cells & future manufacturing of 4GW Solar PV cells.
